Coil Binding

Also called spiral binding. A method of binding where a metal or plastic wire is spiraled through holes punched along the side of a stack of paper. This method is commonly used for lined notebooks, journals, manuals, etc. Documents bound with coil have the ability to lay flat, and the cover / pages can rotate 360 degrees. This is similar to but not the same as Wire-O Binding.
